my sis totally drowned the whole house with her singing, belting out jay's songs cos she was wearing headphones.
and didnt realise she was THAT loud.

headphones have that effect on ppl.

not saying that her voice is horrible, she is rather in tune lol. but still. i prefer listening to the original singer haha

went to mp library. as expected, loads of people so i left after borrowing some books. cant seem to find devil wears prada, a search on the library catalogue showed that all the copies were either "on loan" or "reserved". damnit.

and i KNOW i should be muggin. but i cant help it, i read 2 books today and i'm about to finish the 3rd one! i'm being too flippant abt exams!! omg.

but NVM, 6 more days.

i had an ULTRA WEIRD dream last night. weird enough to wake me up at 3am, thinking why i woke up. haha

ehem, it went like this .... one fine day, my family and relatives all went over to my neighbour's house. because it caught fire and we were trying to help.

we suspected it was the baby who did it.

and then, suddenly my dad who was flipping thru the newspaper saw this particular article about BANDITS attack, complete with pictures of pirates that resemble Jack Sparrow and his crew from pirates of caribbean and then, we started discussing if it was pirates who set the fire, to ambush all of us in the house!

the next moment, a lorry full of pirates arrived! i remembered it was a blue lorry.

so me and a cousin siying, suggested that we climb out of the side gate.

but in my dream, the adults were unbelievably THICK IN THE HEAD! they actually decided that it would be better to see if the pirates were really dangerous or not!

and after that, all the children were forced to watch tv, while the adults were told to stand in a corner. but one of the pirate grabbed this girl and threw her onto the wall.

AND i woke up.

i wonder what it's supposed to mean. weird.

told my cousins just now at dinner about my dream. so it started off a "dream-sharing" session lol.

bro told us, he dreamt that he was in hogwarts once. and the students have to sleepover right? so he tried to get off it by faking illness to get MC. (what he always does to escape army nights haha)

then simin said she dreamt that in her dream, she was laughing till she woke her mum up. -.-

she said my sis said "mummy i want milk!" in her dream last time, tho i cant rmb

i shall try to post as little as possible.

or else MICHELLE will COMPLAIN she dont have ANYTHING to post about.

so perhaps i'll just gloss over most of the stuff and she'll fill in the detail=]

ok, so 2 down, 5 more to go.

obviously i'm referring to the exams.

we were so bored before the HCL 1, nothing much to study that we fooled around. haha.

i almost fell asleep writing my compo. was kinda bored with writing and stoned for awhile each time after i finish a paragraph lol.

yimei thought i wrote alot cos i asked for extra paper twice. but it's actually due to the fact that correction tape cant be used and i had to cancel out so many words. haha.

anyway i FORGOT TO BRING VBALL! realised it only when i was about to reach school and telling mum i was staying back to study (something not accomplished)

then she asked "mei you dai qiu qu pai pai ah?"

hai. too bad she didnt ask me tt earlier before we set off...

but in the end we got 2 vballs from the school storeroom!

mich, val, yimei, lichang, jiayi, weixun and i played in the scorching sun.

now i look like a tomato. -.-

but mich and i got it worst. we stayed the longest and played till 4.30!

from 11am to 4.30!!

mich going to be an indian liao. haha.

oh and something happened while we were playing. all that i'm saying is that someone's nose got hit, and someone's face got slapped. HAH. read mich's post later on for more details

we played with some guys after the rest left. kinda hilarious cos they anyhow play and this guy kept headbutting the ball. made mich go "oww" for his head.

5 and a half hours of vball is tiring. i feel so wobbly =/ and two huge blisters on my feet. ahhh

i'm planning to visit the library again. but perhaps the one at bugis. much much bigger and newer books. less chance of meeting someone i know.

oh btw, someone found my library card and returned it to me via tunghsi and elicia! thx to whoever it is. so it WAS a good thing that there were dunmanians at the library that day lol.

FABULOUS NEWS PPL!

just received a call from the Jack, saying the JERSEYS are ready for collection!

yay!

immediately informed ym lich mich and val, and surprisingly received instantaneous replies from all cept mich

anyway, we finished at 9.30, waay earlier than mainstream who finished at 12.30 i think

mich and i didnt feel like going home yet, but we didnt have a vball, so decided to go KFC for bandittto or whatever you call it.

BUT.

WE WERE REFUSED ENTRY!!

AN OLD GRANDPA GUARDING THE KFC DOORS!!

so we went over to his rival instead : MACS

jiayi joined us later and we talked all the way till 11 plus i think

btw, i just rmbed i dared jiayi to ask evan if he's wearing a black bra just now in the morning.

his reaction was.. PRICELESS

he actually glanced down at his erm, chest for a moment. HAHAHAha

ok back to the topic.

me and mich made our way to parkway after that.

yes we know it's the exams period now blahblah blah but there's no studying mood in the air!!

on the bus, we saw this 50 plus hot lady dressing damn provocatively.

she was wearing a translucent blouse with her black bra really visible and a skirt with super long slits at the sides. SEXY right. and she smiled "seductively" at mich. hahaa

mich is a auntie- killer!!

anyway we walked around, kinda bored by the monotony of parkway. singapore is really suffering from a serious lack of shopping centres. can;t wait to go to hk

went into topshop, esprit and some others. and we, i quote lich, "cam-whored" .

just woken up, feeling like a fat lazy oaf because i could have been rereading my mockingbird book instead of sleeping!!!!

ahhh.

exam stress getting to me.

and i couldnt stand the sight of my desk so cluttered with junk i wasted even more time clearing it

anyway i made a last-ditch attempt at REALLY studying by getting out of the house and to the marine parade library.

mum dropped me off and said ppl might think i'm a delinquent playing truant or something.

i retorted that which delinquent in the right mind would go to the LIBRARY to play truant!

i KNEW i should have gone to the library at bugis instead!
there were so many, ok not THAT many, but more than 5, dunmanians

who apparently decided they would study at the library too. damnit.

was waiting for the library to open, and then i heard someone calling my name.

turned my head, and saw chak from 2b triumphantly saying to his friend "see! told you it's her!"

he wasnt too convinced tho, and came over to ask me if i was really wenxin from dhs.

well DUH. then what? i'm a clone? nuts..

but somehow, i got waylaid.

i decided to browse the book shelves for awhile, and erm, somehow i went away with a book. haha.

so instead of reading my mockingbird like i should, i read another book for 1 hr.

i dont really like meeting ppl from school outside, and there just seemed to be dunmanians everywhere i go so in the end i gave up and left for home.

tmr is a school holiday.

and i'm typing this in a what-a-bloody-day-to-let-us-have-this-"holiday" kind of pissed-off tone.

nice of the school to let us have the day off to die of cramming at home eh?

seriously, i'll rather go to school.

cos now i have this problem to grapple with. WHERE TO STUDY!?

I absolutely cannot concentrate at home. the lure of the computer, books, jsut wandering around, is too great to resist.

or perhaps i could go to the national library at bugis. ah but there's too many books there.

i admit, i have a love hate relationship with the school.

but then again, i bet most ppl have this kind of feelings abt school too right? err, hope i'm not the only weird one haha

anyway, today we had to arrange the tables in preparation for the exams.

sadly, it consisted of the tedious process of having to scrap off all our scribblings and doodles on the table with metal rulers and pen knives. scrapped till my finger got cramped..

sihui got it worst HAHA. she "touched" three tables and left her "legacy" on them.

but it's sorta like vandalising the tables on the pretext of de-vandalising them isnt it?

lol. for ONCE, two WRONGs do make a right.

I LOST $20 of the jersey money TODAY.

suayness.... actually i was planning to ask mum to fetch me home, cos i didnt want to go home alone with such a lump sum(more than 300!) with me. yesyes, i'm paranoid, SO WHAT

but in the end, handed the money over to mrs lee to safekeep!

after school, mich, valerie, weixun and i decided to vballed.

jiayi yimei and lichang said they didnt want to ball and would just study, BUT, the tempation of vball was too hard to resist! haha

actually, we AGREED to leave for home at 3pm sharp. but er, we got waylaid. haha. and dragged on till 4 plus

it's so surreal, seeing all the courts occupied, even though the exams are just 2 days away!
i'm typing this, but somehow i don't think my brain is registering the impending disaster.
maybe because we're all suffereing from burn-out!

anyway, i SUSPECT that someone named a VOODOO doll TEH WENXIN and poked its right hand!

because i've got three injuries on the hand within 2 days!

firstly, the darned bee sting
secondly, the bit of rope burn i got for trying to prove that i could jump and touch the bball net
thirdly, i somehow got a mild cut on my palm.

or maybe, i'm just accident-prone.

OH YA. according to lich, mrs lee reads blogs! oh dear. if that's the case, i think we better watch what we're saying. no such thing as "freedom of speech" anymore.

2nd consecutive post by ms teh today!

i got stung by a freaking BEE in the morning.

i just felt something ticklish on my thigh and wanted to brush whatever it was away.

next thing i knew, there was this pain on my third finger and a small sting sticking out of it. OW.

then it became noticeably redder and SWOLLEN by the time i got to school. and it even felt hotter than the third finger on my left hand.

imagine if the sting is fatal, and i just drop dead like THAT. somewhat like steve irwin dying because of the stingray.

was worrying whether the sting was poisonous, and asked bram what if my third finger rots and drops off.

"then you cant be vulgar anymore lor"

shall talk about yesterday's trip with val, yimei and mich to Queensway shopping centre to order CLASS JERSEY.

mich dad drove us there, cos we had no idea how to go.

so we went round and round the building to get the best bargain possible. i dont really like the layout of the building, we almost got lost trying to find a particular shop.

we went into this shop that offered addidas jerseys so i was kinda inquiring about the price. the guy asked me what's the budget. i said $18.
then he sort of snickered and said "dream on la" in a demeaning kind of way. stupid ass. so of course we didnt buy from him.

went to this other guy instead called Jack. really good service. he's impossibly patient with the four lorsor girls who spent so long deciding about the jerseys. haha.

we didnt get FBT in the end, cos it didnt have the colour we wanted. and sadly, all the other decent-looking colours were taken by the other classes. ah, what to do? too bad that we made the jersey so late

we paid a deposit of $140!!
we only expected it to be like a bit more than 50, but not more than 100! thank goodness the guy was rather nice and let us pay 140 instead of the required 200plus

mum was trying to give us some inspirations for our jersey names when she was sending the rest home.

one thing led to another, and somehow we started talking abt using brands of sanitary napkins. like KOTEX, LAURIER, WHISPER, SOFTY. hahaha

then mum said, there are a lot of words to use. like HEAVYFLOW, OVERFLOW, NIGHTFLOW, DAYFLOW, LIGHTFLOW, CRAMPS.

damn funny. and it caused mum to drive into a wrong lane. haha

we ACTUALLY SERIOUSLY CONTEMPLATED using that. but suddenly realised how embarrassing it would be if we were to wear it out. haha. so ditched that idea. but it's kinda amusing tho.

YAY. finally mich and i agreed on a blogskin!

let me explain the sudden problem that cropped up and caused the darn blog to become this blank page with ONLY the song(lemontree!) blaring out.

the whole template just DISAPPEARED. mich reckons that the person who made the template took it off blogskins.com so it disappeared.

and so everything is gone. the profiles, counter, countdown even! no more goofballs sitting under the tree. sad. but it'll be up soon again. i shall be NOBLE and forego revising to finish up the blog!

sunny and hot like an oven! enough to transform michelle into or lang. hokkien for black person i think. haha

we had BIOLLO for lang arts today!! cos mdm john's away on a course.

he is in one word, AMUSING.

first, he made us greet him in a singsong voice thingy. then he rushed through the merchant of venice text.

last part of the lesson was the best!

he said, let's see how creative you people can get! you can ask me 4 qns about me.
but no qns about age, marriage and weight. hahaha.

sihui and yonghui asked him two qns. sihui asked if he could speak french. he answered some "je pais" and claims that his french is actually lousy. well then mine is worse then rudimentary.

the last two qns werent taken up by anyone, so he randomly asked jinhui(another "hui") what's her fave colour. ans: GREEN.

and he just happened to look upon my GREEN PENCIL CASE. woe is me.

so i just asked the first thing that came to mind.

"which female teacher in DHS do you like best?"

ahaha

to which he replied wryly.

"as i'm married, the word "like" has many connotations .... but i currently sit next to ms evonne-lai(mrs lee!) and mrs(or was it ms?) goh. we both have a great sense of humour! i enjoy their company very much"

oooh....

then weixun asked the next qns.

"describe ur wife in 10 words"

biollo was all in praise for his wife la, in fact he even exceeded the requested 10 words

"she is the most understanding, artistic *insert all nice descriptions" AND she has a GORGEOUS BODY"

OH MAN.

biollo is one horny man... wonder what the wife will think of it HAH.

we played vball after school. for once, the courts werent all occupied. you only get to enjoy it when others are studying, meaning you're the only bunch of ppl slacking. haha.

stupid yimei and mich have named a jumping pose after me. WHAT LA! i just somehow made a weird kind of jump..

tmr another vballing day! it better not rain. and i'm not going to read the weather forecast.

oh and just received news that another cousin of mine, Jian, got a really bad gash on his left hand that severed the nerves.

cos he was leaning all his weight on a glass window pane to peer into his classroom, and the glass just shattered.. but he cant feel any pain now, cos the nerves are severed... ewww. plus he's a bballer... kinda reminds me of the multiple times i sprained my ankle and couldnt go for training.

oh and the transport stuff has just been announced. nice of the school to help subsidise a considerable amount of money for us.
mum says to go to parkway. i agreed. can have macs for breakfast. haha. but i think having to pay the penalty of $75 for the sticker is kinda qiao zha.

just rmbed about the student exchange programme in hongkong. it falls on the 8 to 13 nov, and so coincidentally i'm going to hk on the 14th! was thinking that perhaps could sign up for the programme, and stay on in hk after the 13th to wait for family. haha. but mum reckons that it's troublesome.

i have been posting every single day! haha. we'll see how long this can last before my interest dies off lol.

anyway just came back from school. was supposed to have study date with val and mich, BUT, i decided to leave early. cos i wasnt doing anything productive cept eating my macademian cookies and reading 1993 issues of reader digest.

got back history test paper today. just passed.
had maths test, couldnt do most of the qns, BCOS i FORGOT to bring back my file on monday and i dint go to school YESTERDAY! *smack myself*

oh but anyway, i've ceased to care about trivial stuff like homework! actually no, more of because i dunno what to do with them. doesnt help that dad keeps on preaching that studies isnt all that important, it's the CHARACTER and blah blah. i have a RADICAL dad!

michelle did SOMETHING to me AGAIN today... shall not reveal what because i'm keeping my PEACE. heh. all i'm saying is that i might be too traumatised to turn up in school tmr. go blame mich if you miss me =]

and denise shall have the honour of being mentioned in this post.

because she had the most horrible flu today and used up everyone's precious supply of tissue papers. we even had to get more for her from the toilet!
so if anyone had any ,erherm, "emergency issues" in the toilet due to sudden realization that there's no toilet paper, go find denise. she killed many trees today.

returned home today only at 7 plus from yimei's house.

mich, lich, jiayi and i went over to watch Merchant of Venice.

grossness.

those victorian people, damn open-minded. to think that the prostitutes wave their hankies from the balconies with their two huge lumps in front totally exposed! siao.
the language was well, LONG WINDED.

they must have had lots of time to waste to talk so much. and maybe a lot of brains too, to be able to continually talk in poetic rhymes.

so we watched finish the agonisingly boring show, but i think mich was the worst off. cos it was the fourth time she was watching it. lol

yimei's mum so so NICE! but kinda overwhelming haha. she kept bringing out food for us to eat til we're all so full.

after that we went to play vball downstairs.

RAIN like shit. i am P I S S E D. i hate rainy days.

ms tan let us train for the interclass during P.E, and siva asked us if we could play match with his sec 3 girls.

and so we did. kinda scary, them being seniors and better and everything. and THEN it HAD TO RAIN. so we were released early. ahhh.

all of us were hoping and hoping and praying that it wouldnt rain cos we were planning to play vball after school, but our prayers obviously went unheard. haha.

so it rained, and rained, AND rained. through sci, thru music, thru the stupid chinese test that i didnt understand a word of!

bell rang. weather report: still raining.

so we resorted to playing at the hostel area. yimei trained us all! hope we're improving heh. and i mian qiang can spike already yay!

michelle had a GRACEFUL fall while trying to save the ball! haha. of course la, our ballerina!=]

and the rest tried to imitate the fall, so i took a video of their spastic attempt. lol.

thankfully the rain ceased to a slight drizzle and we went played friendly match with 2B. kinda scary. yimei warned me about shiying's scary super spike. lol.
played till 5, left with valerie. mum was nagging about me playing in the rain =/.

today is just a STUPID DUMBASS RAINY DAY.

a bunch of them went to watch Merchant Of Venice at weixun's house after school! too bad i couldnt go, but watching it with mich some other day i think. but she watched it thrice already. haha.

mum just told me something gross. a friend of my dad drove this two drunk guys home after the opening ceremony thingy yesterday, and they PUKED in her car. that means two pools of puke?
so she sent the car for washing.
and the guy who washed the car puked twice while washing. ugh. poor lady who owns the car.

another day at home slacking!

woke up groggy in the morning and dad mercifully said i can dont go to school.

speaking of my dad, he's now sick while i'm all recovered now.

he got drunk just now at the opening ceremony (drunk in the afternoon!), and he's sorta having hangover now. first time i saw my dad drunk haha. he claims it's because he's old already and not because his jiuliang bu hao.

anyway i actually prepared to go to school, wore my uniform and everything, then fell asleep on the sofa. lol

slept till around 10plus, lazed around, slept till 12.

didnt feel like studying so watched some DVDs (pirated hee).

watched BROTHERHOOD! the korean war movie, with the quite cute korean guy in it. kinda graphic and gross, but touching nonetheless.

mum was watching with me, but she had to take a cab to drive dad and the car back home because he was too tipsy to drive. lol.

watched munich, but there weren;t any subtitles so i gave up. that's the bad thing about pirated dvds. cant be depended for quality.

so went to borrow edward scissorshand from bro instead. it's kinda like a classic tim burton show i guess. all the elements of him. sadistic story, weird characters, and of course, johnny depp. they always work together. weird and eccentric minds think alike i guess. but i still like johnny depp best in POTC.

anyway sorry mich lich ym yh for not turning up for the TKAM play today!! paiseh... and i couldnt watch the other plays too.

well here i am posting on the blog when all of you are in school!

ahh not my fault. feeling so darn nauseous i can't even read today's newspapers...

this sudden bout of sickness from monday is driving me insane.. and exhausted.

anyway michelle i changed the names thingy already, so now you dont seem so "ego". hah.

was feeling rather alright in the morning, but started feeling horrible and sleepy after first period. no com lab lesson today, so we rehearsed TKAM role play.

thank goodness my character, Judge Taylor, is supposed to be this sleepy guy so i was pretty much "into the role". lol

decided to go home during interaction period and sihui went down with me to the general office.
met ms koh on the way and she asked what's wrong?
i said, i really dont like maths, that's why i'm going home. haha.
she retorted, yeah, action speaks louder than words. now i really know how much you hate maths.

oh and she was featured on some chinese newspaper, together with mr ken. and their ages were revealed! wahahaha.
ms koh is 28, and mr ken is 31.

anyway, filled in the darn forms and had to wait for the HOD to sign before i could leave. was commenting to sihui that by the time the forms are done, i would have died already. exaggeration la.

mum couldnt pick me up, so had to take a cab home. sihui waited with me as we tried unsuccessfully to flag down a cab. seems like everyone was going somewhere and i only got a cab more than 15 mins later. sihui have me to thank for helping her waste time and skip lessons. haha.

oh well. going to sleep now. argh hope i'll miraculously become better when i wake up.
