and was sorta distracted by 2 other books.

but in the end, freedom writers diary triumphs! lol

and omg, just discovered another heaven, in the form of PAPERCHASE, in borders.

sigh all the nice notebooks and parchment... but prints is still tops

after that went for speed-shopping, browsed heeren in like, 40 mins! cos was supposed to meet up with dad and go ahma's house

and we watched a short film done by cousin as her final year proj. aunt was a calafare or however you spell it lol

my name appeared in the credits! hahaha cos i helped out for 2 days. but not as if it's gonna be seen by anyone anyway lol

finally managed to watch mr bean today!

was rather funny lol. rowan atkinson's face is made of rubber

and i bet his face will have lotsa wrinkles when he get old from pulling faces all the time lol

and at century square something was going on. caught a glimpse of quan yifeng and kym

then wandered around. but bah, what a crowd, so i didnt stay long.

but that little time spent window-shopping was enough to make me realise how deprived i really am of shopping!

and also, the lack of money =[

went to bishan for training! unfortunately was raining and so we had to train in the carpark.
tyre-running
made me almost fall off the steps of the bus bleh.

every day is spent counting down (at least it is for me).

some teacher, i forgot who, asked us to enjoy our lives as students.

i think that's worthy of being a pre-announcement joke they used to tell during morning assemblies.

and haha, kelly kindly reminded me MAYDAY is coming. as in 1st May(her birthday), not the band yeah.

as if i need reminding!

lol and since friday we dont have to go to school, hmm shall ask kelly out on a date! that is if she's not booked already

and i hate wednesdays.

imagine if our week schedule was like this:

when woosie shiying and i entered 3F, it was all bright and sunny

around half an hour later, WHOA it looked as if someone put a blanket over the sky

then there was a Team talk by mr lim, sorta a reflection on what we've done so far, our attitudes, our events...

track is 30% talent, 70% hard work, says mr lim.

and we must have the Fighting Spirit.

back back back =]

ah home sweet home.

you know the feeling of coming home to your own bed, own toilet, clean house, homecooked food etc?

yup that's it. and haha a lot more. simply being back and finally able to be in contact with people =]

hmm the trip was ok i suppose.

in short, like what i briefly told woosie:

-a little boring, since it's my second time there

-but fun, cos of all my relatives =]

-boat rides were TERRIBLE

-the other occupants in the resort werent the best either

-sun was alright, a little sunburnt now

-waves were GOOD! big and smashing and fun

-few fishes, even fewer corals. thanks to pollution yeah

all in all, there wont be a third trip for me lol

1st day:

we celebrated cousin xinying's birthday on the first night (her birthday was on 5th april! lol)

also celebrated another cousin (who is married and has three kids) 's maid's birthday

and of course, MUM'S! =] though she refused to let us put any candles haha. ooh someone getting touchy about age! haha

then after that, the adults basically indulged in mahjong, while i read/wrote to pass time.

one good thing about the place was that it had a mini library! managed to read ANGELS AND DEMONS by dan brown. kinda interesting

went out the whole day, snorkeling!

but like i said, few fishes.

might have seen a few Dory (finding nemo?) here and there, some dead and colourless corals on the sea bed, and very very salty sea.

oh and there was this very pregnant cat. it eats bread.
and it has a very long tail.

which made me think.
is it me, or the cats in singapore dont seem to have tails?

yesterday i watched CLICK!

hm have to say it's very moral-centred kind of show. those kind that subconsciously preaches about life's teachings yeah?

well it was sad, made me kinda teared. but after which i got super duper HIGH.

ok HIGH is not the word to describe it. hmm let's jsut say the film got its desired effect on the audience.

cos i stopped feeling pissed with my parents over some minor incident and felt rather guilty about it.

and then i told michelle all about it, i suppose she thought i'm nuts. cos she doesnt really FEEL for shows. she's a sadistic one who scoffs at romance/dramas and delight in horror movies.

lol! and while talking on the phone yesterday i helped her to fill in some quizzy thingys on the gotoquiz website.

she's 82% READY FOR A BABY!
and i'm SUPERMAN, she's TWEETYBIRD.

seriously man. they should use the vacant cineplex that used to show those yang-tze type of porno movies and revamp it into some golden village thingy.

then when i get the urge to watch movies in slippers and pjs with a pillow in hand, i can!
it's like a 20mins walk away

it's a lucrative business ok! see:

1. parkway is a really convenient for those who dont want to go to town
2. many people are familiar with parkway
3. you dont have to dress up much to go parkway
4. it already has most stuff a mini bugis should have i.e. fast-food, shops that cater to teens(77thstreet, lemontee), shops that cater to the working young adults(topshop, esprit ) etc etc!
5. PLUS it has GIANT, COLD STORAGE AND NTUC all in the vicinity!

SO WHAT THE HECK IS THE PARKWAY MANAGEMENT WAITING FOR!?
and GOLDENVILLAGE/ENGWAH/SHAW/CATHAY too!

get moving and build a spanking new cineplex in parkway NOW !
