yesterday was siyuan's birthday!

and hm yeah as usual shiying the official cake-smasher woman attacked him haha

realised our class has celebrated many people's birthdays together so far!

cool =]

anyway teachers' day is in another 2 days. not surprisingly no year3 classes are participating in the concert.

how to when we're having afternoon classes almost everyday and with so many subjects to study for -. only the lower sec can afford to spend time rehearsing their performances

not that we arent appreciative of our teachers, just that there are other ways to show our appreciation too

was extremely absentminded in class today =/

left my LA group standing in front waiting for me cos i totally forgot i was in that group and that we were presenting lol

plus i cant find my specs ANYWHERE. pft.

and EOYS timetable came today bleh.

and the first exam is on 1ST OCTOBER. also known as CHILDREN'S DAY.

times like this, you know that you truly have to say goodbye to your childhood lol.

mich and i decided to go watch RATATOUILLE(rat-a-too-ee) on an impulse yesterday after school lol.

i give it 4 out of 5 stars lol.

yesterday seemed like the best time to get a break after all the tests lol, not that i deserve it though.

considering i flunked physics test and the chem quiz doesnt look too good either, despite studying so much for it.

but cheers to the LA film group! (shiying michelle joanne siyuan yiling and i)
the film has finally been presented, feel so darn relieved especially after all the problems we've encountered.

and we bought a mr bean teddy bear for joanne to thank her for having to acting stupid all the time in the film lol.

Most interesting biology lab lesson this year - dissecting sheep's heart!

the heart is really squishy and slimy. gross but interesting.

strangely, it wasnt the dissecting of the heart but the overpowering smell of latex from the gloves that made me wanna puke lol.

i think my century egg from chem lab lesson looks like a pokemon ball.

there was an ice rainbow (a rainbow circle around the sun) sighted in singapore a few days ago.

oh dear i've just started playing sims2 again

and now isnt really the best time to get hooked on that haha

went to visit my chem tutor, michelle, just now. lol.

was supposed to visit Mdm Rozana(bio teacher) at the hospital with qianhui cos she's supposed to have given birth on friday but then we realised we didnt check the visiting hours lol.

wonder what's her baby gonna be called lol.

anyway good news, i'm going australia! =]

with cousin lam too!

after 1 and a half hour

i have this overwhelming urge to just BURN all the papers.

bah.

thurs was yimei's and weixun's birthday =]

celebrated yimei's birthday after PE. it was pretty wild lol. it ended up with yimei on the floor with cake all over her face, and then later on, all of us held down shiying for the birthday girl to take revenge haha

helped joanne create a new blog the other day when we were in the library.

the goondu, after creating a new account, realised she had actually logged in to the old account with 4 existing blogs cos her email and password is the same -.

BAD DAY.

but despite of it all

"it" being - tons of undone homework, stupid la film-editing that got stalled again and again because of the school lousy video cam, failing maths quiz, just passing chi test etc etc etc

i still feel alright.

haha.

maybe reality hasnt hit me yet la la.

anyway today is cousin LAM's first day at school! hope the orientation went well!

maybe for forfeits they were forced to draw horribly instead of the beautiful sketchings they do effortlessly. haha

apparently there are different types of high school musical on disney channel

my sis told me there's the

1. sing-along version
2. the movie version

and now i just learnt that there's the DANCE- Along!

cos i happened to see my sis dancing to it, alone in the dark with only the tv screen for light. lol!

and i'm talking about a girl who usually dont even dare to go to the kitchen alone at night.

i didnt know her love for the show is that great haha

imagine if there's a play-the-piano-along for the jay chou movie!

haha his fingers would be too fast for anyone to follow

i've attempted to start on homework, but all i've done from 7am-10am was a few pathetic sentences of history summary bah.

and today's video-editing wasnt productive, cos the bloody video camera couldnt be read by my cousin's com.

bad day.

anyway yesterday's night The King And I was really good, very witty dialogue that kept the audience laughing throught the 3 hours

managed to get a picture of the orchestra! but cant see much cos erm, no photography is allowed actually. lol.

i think the orchestra is under-appreciated (is there such a word?). maybe because the audience cant see them, but they are as important as those singing on the stage

this supposed "long weekend" is too short for my liking

went to watch Secrets today!

no spoilers, just pictures lol, but for those who really dont wanna know anything then dont scroll down. haha

the start was kinda cheesy, but towards the ending there are some unexpected surprises. better than i expected

the old piano that he played on was really beautiful and the carvings so intricate!

jay isnt a goodlooker, it's his talent that makes him stand out; he can play TWO pianos at the same time. and there were a few other scenes which displayed his abilities. totally awesome lol.

i had a hard time finding a picture of anthony wong who acts as his dad

i think he's really really cute (anthony wong) haha. i like him the most in the movie

jay doesnt really have much expressions, but the story line is really cool and anthony wong is so funny, i dont mind watching it again.

while waiting for the bus home, had a random thought: bus drivers take the bus home! and likewise mrt drivers take the mrt home!

which led to: doctors going to other doctors when they are sick, a midwife helping another midwife give birth etc

just never thought of it before hah.

yesterday was national day, but i didnt watch the parade lol. not that i'm not patriotic, i love singapore, but there are other ways of showing my appreciation for the country la. haha

kelly called just to tell me that Secret Recipe's cheesecakes were selling at 42% off the usual price, cos singapore is 42 years old haha.

anyway yesterday was spent at siyuan's house doing storyboard / script and etc, because we couldnt transfer the video to his com! bah.

he happens to own my favourite kind of dogs lol

shiying got freaked out by the female one and shouted like crazy. too bad we didnt manage to video that down haha

this one doesnt know how to climb stairs after 2 years haha

i would have posted pics of joanne being idiotic, but we agreed not to release any pictures until our completed short film is submitted

plus i think joanne will come after me with a chopper if i post the pics up haha

today's national day celebration was okok i suppose? lotsa singing

valerie did you hear 3G cheer for you? lol

unexpected performace by KEELY from campus superstar, and best of all, NURUL from singapore idol!
she is SUPER HOT, and her voice is ABSOLUTELY GREAT. she sang corrine bailey rae's "put your records on"

after that we did filming in school, at east coast park and then mich's house!

our lead actress! ok actually, the ONLY actress in the film haha

and it was HANYIN'S birthday on monday =]

we got her a cake, which shiying predictably went to smash into the birthday girl's face haha

last saturday, us year 3s had to go on a CME trip to 4 religious places of worship. hmm i've been to 3 out of the 4 places, so basically it was a waste of time.

we had to wear headscarves to enter the first one

and i was kinda happy cos my 50cents coin went into the pot! and i made a wish =]

haha i just wanted to say the sunday night movie : LEGALLY BLONDE 2 was ultra funny!

havent watched anything good in ages, so now after laughing so much i'm feeling HAPPY! =]

the school should screen shows like this between a few lessons or so, i think we'll be able in a better mood to study hahaha

oh but i dont like pink.

now i know reese witherspoon is kelly's absolute idol haha

this post is purely for ranting. i dont even have the mood to blog anymore.

CIP, selling chocolate-coated marshmallows/bananas/kiwis/strawberries was a success!

we raised around $4oo in 2 days =] thank you all those who bought (whether willingly or not) lol.

ok that's the only good news of the week.

depressing isnt it?

let's see what ruined this week:

1. CME teacher getting all pissed off cos we didnt go for her lesson, although it is true that we should have informed her, but personally, i think she made too big a fuss. and for our fund-raising efforts, we now have to write an apology letter.

2. practically NO extension of the deadline for LA FILM.

3. maths test, history test, chinese test.

ALL of which i didnt manage to complete, and will most probably fail.

we're all so tired:

i dont hear as much laughter as compared to last time, everyone seems to have quieten down, stressed out all the time, rushing to complete assignments, or trying to understand the million concepts/formulas that are being taught at a breakneck speed, i dont even have time to absorb the information.

someone, anyone, give us a freaking break ok?

we are not robots.

nothing interesting happening, thus the lack of posts.

just filming, tests, etc. no training, havent really played vball/bball for quite a while..
all the pre-End Of Years exams syndromes eh?

anyway today 3G sold marshmallows and bananas dipped in chocolate fondue! =]

tmr too! so please support us! lol

sis just bought high school musical TWO soundtrack.

i'll have to wear ear-plugs or something for the following three months.
