mich and i went to VIVOcity just now.
it is, seriously, ONE BIG CRAZY MESS
so much that i got a headache
CANNOT STAND THE CROWDS!!
anyway, it really is big, and trying to find ur way round proves difficult unless with the help of the directory and info-counter.
mum asked me check out the food centre on the third storey cos it was really uniquely designed
and yeah, it's really cool! all rustic and antique-ish feel about the place
plus, it has this:
FYI, i'm a super fruits-lover, like my mum. i remembered at some crazy point of time in p6, i could eat more than 4 apples a day (like RYUK in deathnote!), and mum banned me from eating more than 3 -.-
i digress. the first shop we went into was CANDY something. where mich bought her beloved nougats lol

i bought RINGS, 11.90. kind ex, but i decided to give myself a treat heh
besides, it's rather versatile and i can mix and match the sequence of the rings. lol. self-consolation for splurging

TOPSHOP really has lucridious prices. $2.90 for a teeny weeny BADGE!
the sensible side of me prevailed and decided not to burn a bigger hole in my pocket

we got really sick of the crowds and all, so ventured out to the open air!
saw something really interesting, this small boy-boy was playing at the fountain, something like the one at bugis junction
he placed an orange balloon near the water jetting out, and it managed to stay up in the air!! cool huh
we couldnt really shop the WHOLE of vivocity in a span of less than 4 hours, so i guess i'll be going back there soon, and hopefully, there'll be no maddening crowd then
oh and received a call from cousin who is currently working at Mediacorps on the way back home, apparently she has free tickets to some singapore idol concert called HYPE something something i think. ah but it's at 7.30, and i'm not really interested in taufik slyvester and the likes. but if she has tickets to JAY chou's concert i'll surely go lol
