ok finally a decent post, my is a great speaker! but the two teachers were darn scary. ok this year's IDMI is the best of the three years, great and funny group, plus we managed to complete everything at a relaxed pace =]

IDMI week is a dangerous week

cos teachers/mentors are meeting with students all over the school, which highly increases the possibility of getting caught for anything and everything

zhangqian would know lol. she was trying to hide behind our poster.

today's LIFE & CLASSIFIED sections of the newspapers got stolen.

not from my house, but from the publishing factory or whatever. anybody else missing the newspapers? lol

so no comics, no horoscopes, trivial tabloid news for today =[

finished the harry potter deathly hallows!! felt darn exhausted after 4 hours plus of non-stop reading.

no spoilers here, just that i think the last chapter is a bit too cheesy

i'm in the i-need-to-rant mood pfft

there's IDMI week starting just tmr, ending on the next thurs.
ok fine. so that's one week for us to concentrate on the proj, no?

BUT WAIT!

on top of that, we have to bloody study for THREE TESTS/QUIZ (maths/macbeth/bio)

so what if we are in the IP, and we're supposed to be able to handle loads of hw.
bullshit. others may be superhumans, but i'm definitely not.

and it seems like we're a term behind in the maths syllabus. is it our fault that the education system feels the need to enrich us so much that we're learning advanced stuff? and thus, there's more information to cram into our already overloaded brain?

i'm not saying that the stuff we learn is useless, and i cant say it's the teachers' fault for having to teach so much, but it's all TOO MUCH, TOO SOON.

i suppose i dont have the right to complain, cos i'm not as hardworking as the rest, but whatever. i just feel that there's too much that the education system is trying to cram into a year's syllabus for us to really understand and absorb the knowledge.
going by the rate that the authorities in charge are adding on advanced topics to subjects, it won't be long before the year 1s are learning year 4 stuff.

what's the point? does learning those advanced topics make us more intelligent, more capable than the rest?

bah. it's just mindless whining because i'm feeling stressed.

today's study session was productive! but i hope i can keep all the info locked in my head pfft.

michelle lost her ez-link, which we suspect was probably on the tray that i cleared away darn.
she had two options:
1. ask the Macdonalds person to empty the bin
2. make a new card

ah obviously she chose the latter

and i swore i did pay her the fees. yeah yd you're right it's in monopoly. haha

anyway tomorrow gonna skip school! the itinery for the whole of next week is pretty packed.

- go to the airport
- duck/hippo tour
- shopping at marina square and little india
- host my buddy

Tuesday
- the narrogin students join us for lessons
- to the zoo and night safari
- host my buddy

Wednesday
-they'll have calligraphy lessons
-trips to museums and botanical gardens

- the narrogin students going to science centre
- snow city
- farewell dinner

- watching soccer match with them!

Saturday

- send them off at the airport

wore green yesterday, and i'm wearing green today too! it helps that i kinda like green lol.

hmm gonna meet michelle for chem tuition later. of course she's the teacher, i need help badly pfft.

her tuition doesnt come cheap ok, i'm paying her $100 per hour. no not paid in rupiah. haha go figure.

anyway we celebrated sis' birthday, though it's actually on 10th july. she'll be 11

cake from awfully chocolate! the cheese and mouse were my mum's idea haha.
