i know for some people, the events are not the ones they usually train for, but just do your best! =]

went to band concert yesterday with qianhui, valerie and vanessa!

we met at cityhall mrt, and it was so crowded i felt so.. gao3wei4. walked to victoria concert hall, turned out that we weren't so early after all lol.

and guess who i saw? junior jianfeng who was looking all dressed-up! haha what a difference from the usual boardshorts and shirt.


we went into concert hall shortly after, and got seats at the second row, which was quite ok, had a good view of the front section of the band.

guest-of-honour was the KangQiao school from Taiwan, i liked the "Tequila" piece they played


the senior high + alumni band was super good. all the pieces somehow draw you in and keep you at the edge of your seat. lol saw chunbok right at the front, and the vainpok wore contacts haha!

During intermission, loads of people were walking about, taking pictures, socialising etc. we just sat in our seats and people-watched cos it was too chaotic

the junior high band was getting ready, and mich was sitting right at the front!

the two soloists for junior high band played really well! Jia Ying played the flute, and there were moments when there wasnt any instrument accompanying his music, and it was just him and his flute. nerve-wracking. he was sweating profusely lol.

Terence played the bass clarinet and he didnt look as nervous as Jiaying lol. i like the sound of the bass clarinet better, and the instrument was kinda like a cross between saxophone+clarinet. darn cool.

AFTER the performance, we waited for mich, lionel and yiling cos vanessa bought them flowers
